Krystle Wong is a born and bred Malaysian Chinese. She is contributing editor at the Berlin-based A MAZE. Magazine, an indie games magazine about the adventurous art of playing. Prior to this, she worked on content strategy and social media for AdEasy, a tech startup in Kuala Lumpur, and was a research associate at the Global Public Policy Institute in Berlin.
Krystle's work experience includes television network (Al Jazeera English), a news agency (AFP), a business daily (The Edge Financial Daily), and a think-tank (Centre for Public Policy Studies). She holds a Dual Masters in International Economic Policy and Journalism from Sciences Po Paris. She also holds a Diplôme college universitaire from Sciences Po's Europe-Asia campus in Le Havre, France. Her interests include creative technologies, intersectional politics, questions of modern labour, narrative techniques, and other curiosities of life and literature.
She speaks, or has studied, to varying degrees, English, German, French, Mandarin Chinese, Bahasa Malaysia/Indonesia, Spanish, and Hindi. She loves reading, illustration, and trekking.
